Learn how to place text links in blog posts, emails and other situations.
Once you copy a text link from IR (as shown in the post Impact Radius Ads) you’ll need to go to your website management system, or blog management system to be able to add a link to text. Since they are all somewhat similar; assuming you are using one of the “What you see is what you get” type editors, the process for adding a text link your site is also very similar.
Scroll down to the Main Text or Blog Body text section of your post, highlight the text you want to link, and then click on the “Link Icon” it usually looks like a chain.

From there, a box will pop up that shows the text you highlighted, and a box where you can paste a URL for where you want people to go.

Sometimes, there will be options to choose what happens when someone clicks on that link. I usually like to check the box “Open link in new Tab” or similar so the link will not interrupt their current reading, and instead open another browser tab to load the page you linked to.

Once you hit the Insert, Okay or Confirm button, the text will usually be highlighted blue when you see it. You should test the link to make sure it goes where you intend it to go, and then that is it. You’ve successfully added an affiliate link to your blog post.
